Position Overview

HyLoSo International is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with expertise in multi-tier web architecture, data management, and system modernization. The Architect will play a critical role in transitioning from legacy to modern systems, focusing on data flows, exchange, and translation standardization. This role requires deep technical leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.

Key Duties

  • Code, refactor, and design solutions; troubleshoot multi-tier system issues.
  • Analyze and resolve critical production tickets under tight deadlines.
  • Architect and develop web applications using Node.JS, Spring, Angular frameworks.
  • Provide technical support across multi-tier web architectures.
  • Lead analysis, design, build, and implementation of end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Deploy scalable apps using Node.JS, Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSON.
  • Develop and deploy solutions on AWS EC2 with Docker containers.
  • Apply DevOps automation, containerization, orchestration, and virtualization best practices.
  • Support mobile app architecture (iOS/Android) development.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development using Selenium, Cucumber, and Protractor.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years architecting multi-tier web solutions.
  • 10+ years planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
  • 5+ years with JavaScript frameworks (Node.JS, Angular, etc.).
  • Strong background in scalable systems design with AWS/Linux environments.
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines, Docker, orchestration, and automation tools.
  • Hands-on mobile application development experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.

Specialized Experience

  • 5+ years in direct supervision/management of major IT projects.
  • Led or served as Chief Architect for large-scale IT implementations.
  • Recognized expertise in IT architecture and enterprise modernization.
  • Strong mentoring skills and proven leadership in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.

Employment Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (Citizenship or Residency may be required).
  • Must comply with State of Maryland security policies.
  • DMV-area residency required for hybrid onsite work.
