Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to support DPSCS enterprise systems. This role involves .NET and Java web application development, database administration, and system integration across critical criminal justice and healthcare applications. Candidates must reside in the DMV area and be able to work onsite. A State-issued laptop will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level .NET and Java web applications.
  • Provide full-stack support including SQL Server database management, ETL, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and support: NextGen EHR, OCMS, Maryland Criminal Justice Dashboard, CCH Systems, OpenText RightFax (v22.2+) and Quality Center.
  • Manage Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control and builds.
  • Configure and maintain IIS and Windows Servers.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CJIS, and Maryland IT security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and provide technical documentation.
  • Contribute to Agile and Waterfall SDLC activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of .NET, Java, and C# development in enterprise environments.
  • 7+ years with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, ETL).
  • 3+ years administrator-level experience with NextGen EHR.
  • 3–5 years managing TFS.
  • Experience with OCMS, Criminal Justice Dashboard, CCH Systems, and OpenText RightFax.
  • IIS and Windows Server administration expertise.
  • Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience supporting government or highly regulated clients.

Employment Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States (U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required).
  • Must successfully complete a State and federal CJIS background check, including fingerprinting.
  • Must comply with all State of Maryland IT security policies and access requirements.
  • This is a 1099 or C2C contract role; no sponsorship is available.
